This market will resolve to the temperature range that contains the lowest temperature recorded at the Miami Intl Airport Station in degrees Fahrenheit on 20 May '26. The resolution source for this market will be information from Wunderground, specifically the lowest temperature recorded for all times on this day by the Forecast for the Miami Intl Airport Station once information is finalized, available here: https://www.wunderground.com/history/daily/us/fl/miami/KMIA. To toggle between Fahrenheit and Celsius, click the gear icon next to the search bar and switch the Temperature setting between °F and °C. This market can not resolve to "Yes" until all data for this date has been finalized. The resolution source for this market measures temperatures to whole degrees Fahrenheit (eg, 21°F). Thus, this is the level of precision that will be used when resolving the market. Any revisions to temperatures recorded after data is finalized for this market's timeframe will not be considered for this market's resolution.Recent National Weather Service model runs project overnight lows in Miami around 75–79°F for May 20, driven by moderate easterly flow and scattered subtropical moisture that limits radiational cooling. This keeps the 73°F-or-below bin and the 92°F-or-higher bin nearly tied, as ensemble spread in the Global Forecast System and European Centre for Medium-Range Weather Forecasts still allows for either enhanced cloud cover dropping the minimum or clear skies and a warmer boundary layer pushing it above 90°F. Historical May climatology shows typical overnight minima near 73°F, but current sea-surface temperatures in the western Atlantic are 1–2°F above average, tilting the balance toward warmer extremes if steering patterns hold. Updated model guidance expected from the National Hurricane Center’s local office on May 18–19 will likely resolve the remaining uncertainty before resolution.
