Otherwise, this market will resolve to "No". The primary resolution source for whether the individual is pardoned or not will be official information from the Israeli government; however, a consensus of credible reporting will also be used.Israeli President Isaac Herzog has consistently signaled reluctance to grant Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu a pre-verdict pardon in his ongoing corruption trial on bribery, fraud, and breach of trust charges, instead directing efforts toward mediation and a potential plea agreement. The Justice Ministry’s Pardons Department issued an opinion against recommending extraordinary clemency without an admission of guilt or conviction, and Herzog has reaffirmed that any decision must follow established legal procedures amid national interest considerations. Netanyahu submitted the request in late 2025, drawing external pressure including from U.S. officials, yet no formal action has followed despite coalition ministers’ calls for clemency and incremental trial developments such as completed cross-examination and judicial suggestions on specific counts. Prediction market pricing reflects these institutional and procedural hurdles, with narrow pathways remaining only if plea talks produce an arrangement or Herzog alters course before any resolution deadline.
