This aligns with September climatology for the region, where average daily maxima hover around 27–30°C during the transition from summer monsoon influences. The market’s heavy weighting toward 29°C (53.5%) and 30°C (29.0%) reflects trader consensus on these stable atmospheric conditions, while lower probabilities for 31°C or above account for possible model variability or localized warming. Official observations from the China Meteorological Administration will determine the exact daily maximum for resolution.
