Recent forecasts from Singapore's Meteorological Service and NEA indicate a high of 33–34°C on September 24 amid ongoing southwest monsoon conditions, with localized afternoon thundery showers expected to moderate peak heating. This aligns with the market's leading implied probabilities for 32°C and 33°C, reflecting trader assessment of model consensus and recent observations where daily maxima frequently reached 33–34°C in mid-September. Above-normal regional temperatures linked to prevailing El Niño influences support the tilt toward these outcomes over cooler or hotter extremes, though convective activity introduces uncertainty in exact maximum readings at official stations. Updated short-range model runs and the next daily forecast briefing remain key near-term catalysts for any shifts in sentiment.
