Model ensembles show modest spread tied to variable easterly winds and boundary-layer moisture, which control how much heat escapes overnight versus retained by the warm Atlantic waters. This narrow range of outcomes—centered on typical late-May climatology near 77°F—explains the closely matched probabilities across the 76–83°F bins, as traders assess whether subtle shifts in cloud cover or sea-breeze mixing will push the minimum higher or allow a brief dip toward 75°F before dawn.
