Revisions to temperatures recorded within this market's timeframe will be considered until the first datapoint for the following date has been published, after which any alterations will not be considered. The market's near-certain 23°C outcome reflects the latest UK Met Office short-range guidance, which shows London reaching a daytime maximum of 23°C under building high pressure, sunny intervals, and lighter winds following May's record heatwave. Official observations at stations such as Heathrow and Kew Gardens, combined with model consensus on peak insolation and boundary-layer conditions, have converged on this value, well above the June climatological average of 19–20°C. Brief showers or greater cloud cover could still trim the high by 1–2°C, while any delay in clearing skies might push it slightly higher, though current data make such shifts unlikely before resolution.
