Recent forecast model consensus from sources including the Finnish Meteorological Institute and ECMWF places Helsinki's September 18 high near 15–16°C amid a persistent low-pressure system and southwesterly flow advecting mild maritime air. Cloud cover, scattered showers, and moderate winds around 10 m/s are expected to limit daytime heating, consistent with typical mid-September conditions where highs average 14–16°C. Trader sentiment favors 16°C at 61% implied probability over 15°C at 38% because several ensemble runs and local observations trend slightly warmer, though model spread and precipitation timing introduce enough uncertainty to keep both outcomes viable ahead of final verification.
