Recent forecasts from multiple meteorological models align on an overnight low near 24°C in Shanghai for September 18, reflecting light northerly winds, partly cloudy skies, and minimal radiative cooling under moderate humidity. This consensus underpins the market's 56% implied probability for 24°C as the daily minimum, with the 38.5% chance assigned to 23°C arising from slight variations in timing of any passing showers or localized cloud effects that could enhance cooling. Historical September baselines for the region typically feature lows around 22–25°C, and current model runs show limited divergence ahead of resolution by official station data. Updated forecasts tonight will likely anchor final trader positioning before the 24-hour observation window closes.
