Recent September 2026 polling shows Flávio Bolsonaro, the Liberal Party nominee and son of former president Jair Bolsonaro, consolidating second place ahead of the October 4 first round. AtlasIntel’s latest survey (September 11–16) placed him at 41.7 percent, up sharply from 37.4 percent the prior week, while Datafolha recorded 36 percent and other releases ranged from 30–37 percent. These figures reflect steady right-wing consolidation behind the PL ticket, limited vote fragmentation among smaller conservative candidates, and ongoing polarization that has narrowed Lula’s first-round lead. With the election days away and no major late shifts reported, traders view a first-round share at or above 39 percent as the most probable outcome under current conditions.
