This market will resolve to the temperature range that contains the highest temperature recorded by NOAA at the Ben Gurion International Airport in degrees Celsius on 14 May '26. The resolution source for this market will be information from NOAA, specifically the highest reading under the "Temp" column on the specified date once information is finalized for all hours on that date, available here: https://www.weather.gov/wrh/timeseries?site=LLBG To toggle between Fahrenheit and Celsius, click the "Switch to Metric Units" button until the relevant table displays °C. This market can not resolve to "Yes" until data for this date has been finalized. The resolution source for this market measures temperatures to whole degrees Celsius (eg, 9°C). Thus, this is the level of precision that will be used when resolving the market. Any revisions to temperatures recorded after data is finalized for this market's timeframe will not be considered for this market's resolution. The Israel Meteorological Service's latest forecast projects a daytime high of 32°C in Tel Aviv on May 14 under partly cloudy skies with moderate westerly winds, corroborated by ECMWF and GFS model consensus clustering at 30–32°C; this strong alignment drives the market's 90.6% implied probability for 32°C or higher, bolstered by a recent unseasonal heatwave after May 12 peaks near 34°C and today's cooler 26–27°C readings. Above the May climatological average of 26°C, high-pressure persistence favors continued warmth, though inherent short-term forecast uncertainty remains. Realistic challenges include stronger sea breeze importing cooler marine air or increased low clouds, potentially limiting peaks to 31°C—watch overnight IMS updates and morning observations for shifts ahead of noon resolution.
