Clear skies and moderate northeast winds under high pressure are driving overnight radiative cooling in New York City, positioning the lowest temperature on September 15 near 60–61°F according to National Weather Service and GFS model consensus. Current early-morning readings hover around 57–60°F, with the daily minimum expected before sunrise and no significant frontal passages or moisture to moderate the drop. This aligns with climatological September norms for Central Park, where clear, calm nights typically yield lows in the upper 50s. Trader consensus heavily favors the 60–61°F bin at 77.5% implied probability, reflecting stable forecast agreement ahead of the day's close, while lower bins remain discounted absent unexpected cooling.
