Chen Yu-jen, the Kuomintang nominee and sitting legislator, holds the leading position in trader assessments for the November 28, 2026, Kinmen County magistrate election due to the party's strong historical performance in the county and her status as the sole KMT candidate following the March 2026 nomination. Kinmen's longstanding alignment with KMT candidates, limited DPP participation in recent cycles, and the absence of other major party contenders reinforce this consensus. Lower-priced outcomes for figures such as Li Wen-liang reflect fragmented opposition support, while the election timeline leaves room for shifts from campaign developments, candidate registrations, or turnout patterns in this offshore county.
