In Santa Catarina's 2026 Senate contest for two seats, trader consensus reflects a fragmented field where no candidate holds a commanding edge, with Antídio Lunelli, Décio Lima, Esperidião Amin, and PL nominees Carlos Bolsonaro and Carol de Toni clustered near the top in recent surveys. Multiple parties are fielding viable contenders, splitting right-leaning support among established state figures like Amin and newer PL entrants while center-left and other options further divide preferences. July polling from Neokemp illustrated this balance, with first-vote intentions spread across five or more names and second preferences shifting among the leaders. Upcoming campaign events, alliance negotiations, and additional surveys through October could consolidate backing or expose vulnerabilities, potentially widening gaps ahead of the general election.
