Recent forecasts from multiple models indicate a high near 90-92°F for Dallas on September 3, with partly sunny skies, southeast winds of 5-10 mph, and a 40-50% chance of morning showers or afternoon thunderstorms that could limit peak heating through increased cloud cover and evaporative cooling. This setup produces the near-even split between 88-89°F and 90-91°F market shares, as timing and coverage of convection remain the key variables. Humidity levels near 50-60% and a modest steering pattern favor scattered rather than widespread storms, keeping outcomes close to the September climatological average of 93°F while introducing downside risk if activity arrives earlier or proves more extensive. Updated NWS and model guidance over the next 48 hours will clarify these thresholds.
