The resolution source for this market will be information from Wunderground, specifically the highest temperature recorded for all times on this day by the Forecast for the Seattle-Tacoma International Airport Station once information is finalized, available here: https://www.wunderground.com/history/daily/us/wa/seatac/KSEA. To toggle between Fahrenheit and Celsius, click the gear icon next to the search bar and switch the Temperature setting between °F and °C. Thus, this is the level of precision that will be used when resolving the market. Any revisions to temperatures recorded after data is finalized for this market's timeframe will not be considered for this market's resolution.Trader consensus overwhelmingly favors 56-57°F (99.8% implied probability) for Seattle-Tacoma International Airport's (KSEA) highest temperature on May 13, backed by National Weather Service observations showing mid-afternoon readings stalling near 55°F under persistent marine stratus clouds and southwest onshore flow. This sharp cooldown from early May's record 81°F highs at KSEA stems from a weakening upper-level ridge enabling cool Pacific air advection, with dew points around 50°F suppressing further warming amid overcast skies and 20% rain chances. Model consensus aligned with these trends; realistic challenges like brief cloud breaks for 58°F+ would require unobserved late-day peaks, improbable per hourly data. Resolution awaits finalized Wunderground KSEA records to whole-degree Fahrenheit precision.
