This positioning reflects strong trader consensus backed by real-time station data at key sites like Capital International Airport, where the diurnal temperature cycle has transitioned to evening cooling, rendering higher readings implausible. Only an unprecedented late-afternoon radiative heating anomaly—defying historical May patterns averaging 26–27°C highs—could challenge this, with final resolution pending official daily maximum release.
