Recent National Weather Service and private model guidance points to Miami highs of 86–89°F on September 3 amid typical early-September conditions of high humidity, light southeast flow, and afternoon convection. Persistent cloud cover and scattered thunderstorms are expected to cap insolation and prevent readings from climbing into the mid-90s, keeping 90–91°F the market favorite at 45% while 88–89°F holds secondary support. These outcomes align with climatological averages near 89°F and the absence of any anomalous ridge or suppressed convection that would allow stronger heating. Updated model runs and official NHC/NOAA briefings over the next 48 hours remain the key variables that could shift probabilities if drier air or clearer skies develop.
