Recent forecasts from Brazilian meteorological sources, including the Centro de Gerenciamento de Emergências Climáticas and Climatempo, indicate that a persistent polar air mass is suppressing maximum temperatures in São Paulo on September 16, with expected highs of 18–19°C under mostly cloudy skies and light showers. This represents a notable departure from September climatological averages of 24–26°C, driven by southerly winds and high pressure that limit daytime heating and maintain elevated humidity. Trader consensus around 19–21°C outcomes aligns with these official guidance updates and model runs emphasizing limited warming potential, though any late-day clearing could nudge readings slightly higher before resolution based on airport observations.
