Recent atmospheric influences, including the subtropical high's periphery and a tropical cyclone remnant trough, have driven scattered showers and cooler air into Wuhan through early September, tempering highs. Official and ensemble forecasts for September 3 show clearing skies with highs clustering near 28–30°C (roughly 82–86°F), though lingering moisture and variable northerly winds introduce uncertainty in peak readings. This aligns with the market's tight distribution favoring 29–30°C outcomes, as models diverge modestly on timing of full clearing and diurnal heating. Historical September averages for the city hover around 28–29°C, providing context for the current setup ahead of post-event warming.
