Strong model consensus from agencies including NOAA and ECMWF supports the market's near-certain 31°C outcome, as clear skies, moderate northeasterly flow, and typical early-September insolation over the North China Plain are expected to produce a daily maximum near that threshold. Recent surface observations from Zhengzhou stations show morning readings climbing steadily toward 30–31°C with dew points around 15°C and minimal cloud cover, aligning closely with climatological norms for the date. Minor forecast uncertainty stems from possible afternoon boundary-layer mixing or slight wind shifts that could cap the peak 1–2°C lower, though current guidance assigns low probability to deviations outside the 31°C bin.
