Forecast models from the National Weather Service and local outlets currently project a Denver low of 53–56°F on September 23, driven by mostly cloudy skies and light southerly flow that limits nocturnal radiative cooling. This places the outcome near the middle of the distribution, yet market-implied odds remain nearly even between 70°F or higher and 51°F or below because traders weigh residual uncertainty in cloud thickness, dewpoint depression, and any late-day shower activity that could alter the overnight minimum. Historical September averages near 46°F provide context, but the current warm bias stems from a stable high-pressure ridge holding through midweek. Updated model runs and NWS briefings on steering patterns and boundary-layer moisture will likely tighten the range ahead of resolution.
