This market will resolve to the temperature range that contains the highest temperature recorded by the Hong Kong Observatory in degrees Celsius on 11 Jun '26. The resolution source for this market will be information from the Hong Kong Observatory, specifically the "Absolute Daily Max (deg. C)" the specified date once information is finalized in the relevant "Daily Extract", available here: https://www.weather.gov.hk/en/cis/climat.htm This market can not resolve until data for this date has been published. The resolution source for this market measures temperatures in Celsius to one decimal place (eg, 9.1°C). Thus, this is the level of precision that will be used when resolving the market. Any revisions to temperatures recorded after data is initially published for this market's timeframe will not be considered for this market's resolution. The Hong Kong Observatory's official observations confirm a maximum temperature of 29°C on June 11, 2026, aligning with model consensus under prevailing subtropical ridge conditions that limited daytime heating despite the broader seasonal outlook for above-normal warmth driven by long-term climate trends and ENSO influences. Surface observations, including 2 p.m. readings near 25–28°C at key stations and soil temperatures around 28.5°C, reflect typical June humidity and light winds that moderated peaks below the 30–32°C range seen earlier in the month. With resolution now complete, the 100% market-implied odds reflect verified data rather than forecast uncertainty. Only an unlikely post-publication revision to the official record or a change in measurement protocols could alter the outcome.
