This market can not resolve to "Yes" until all data for this date has been finalized. The resolution source for this market measures temperatures to whole degrees Fahrenheit (eg, 21°F). Thus, this is the level of precision that will be used when resolving the market. Any revisions to temperatures recorded after data is finalized for this market's timeframe will not be considered for this market's resolution.Recent National Weather Service and model consensus for Miami point to an overnight low near 73–76 °F on May 19, driven by typical mid-May maritime air masses with dew points in the low 70s and light easterly flow that limits nocturnal cooling. This places the 73 °F-or-below bin at the front of trader pricing, consistent with climatological averages where daily minima rise only gradually from 72 °F early in the month toward 76 °F later. The past week’s warm, humid regime—highs repeatedly reaching the upper 80s—has transitioned into an early wet-season pattern featuring scattered coastal showers that can enhance cloud cover and moderate temperature drops. Forecasters continue to monitor short-range guidance for any strengthening onshore breeze or clearer skies that could push the minimum a degree or two lower or higher before resolution.
