Recent polling from early August shows a fragmented field for the two Mato Grosso do Sul Senate seats, with Reinaldo Azambuja (PL) leading stimulated surveys around 38 percent while Capitão Contar (PL), Nelsinho Trad (PSD), Vander Loubet (PT), and Soraya Thronicke (PSB) trail in single or low double digits. Trader consensus remains near even across listed contenders because no candidate has consolidated a dominant share, party coalitions are still forming, and voter preferences stay fluid weeks before the October vote. Recent launches and conventions, including Thronicke’s July confirmation, have added visibility without shifting the top line decisively. Separation could emerge from further polling releases, alliance consolidations, or turnout patterns among key regional blocs.
