Incumbent Republican Tim O’Hare holds a 65.5% trader consensus in the 2026 Tarrant County Judge race against Democratic challenger Alisa Simmons at 34.5%, reflecting his strong primary performance, substantial fundraising edge, and established Republican advantages in the county. O’Hare secured nearly 88% in the March Republican primary, while Simmons won her Democratic nomination with 61%. Recent clashes over a 30% reduction in polling sites approved along party lines in early September, alongside O’Hare’s public warnings about potential Democratic gains and accusations regarding taxes and public safety, have kept the contest in focus. Simmons has emphasized fiscal oversight, jail accountability, and opposition to redistricting changes. With early voting set for October, these factors continue to shape positioning ahead of the November 3 general election.
