Claude Reid, the incumbent Coalition Avenir Québec MNA since 2018, holds the strongest position in the Beauharnois riding ahead of the October 5, 2026, Quebec general election, reflecting trader consensus on his established local profile and party infrastructure. Alexandre Daneau, the Parti Québécois nominee who secured his party's nod with 83% in a June 2026 vote, trails as the main challenger amid broader provincial polling that shows the PQ competitive but the CAQ retaining strength in certain Montérégie seats. Other confirmed candidates, including Liberal Charles Royer Tremblay, Conservative Angélika Homère, and Québec solidaire's Virginie Hockers, register minimal implied probabilities consistent with limited recent momentum or name recognition in the riding. Nomination deadlines close on September 17, with no major late developments altering the field. Historical results transposed to the current map and 338Canada projections leaning toward the CAQ further align with current pricing, though tight provincial dynamics leave room for shifts based on turnout or campaign events in the final weeks.
