Any revisions to temperatures recorded after data is finalized for this market's timeframe will not be considered for this market's resolution.Official observations from the Finnish Meteorological Institute's (FMI) Kaisaniemi station—the authoritative source for Helsinki temperatures—confirm a peak of 14°C early on May 14, 2026, amid partly cloudy skies, light southerly winds, and scattered sprinkles that suppressed further warming. Updated hourly data shows temperatures declining to 10–12°C by afternoon, aligning with forecast model consensus from FMI and ECMWF indicating no rebound potential as solar heating wanes. This positions trader sentiment at virtual certainty (100% implied probability) for 14°C as the daily high, consistent with cool May climatology where averages hover near 15°C but variability arises from Baltic Sea influences. Realistic challenges are slim: only a post hoc revision from FMI or outlier reading from a secondary station like Helsinki-Vantaa could shift it, pending final daily report.
