This market will resolve to “Yes” if any court in the United States issues a ruling that widespread fraud, fraudulent conduct, or illegal manipulation of votes occurred during the first round of the 2026 Los Angeles mayoral election by October 31, 2027, 11:59 PM ET. Otherwise, this market will resolve to “No”. A ruling is defined as any written order, judgement, opinion, or decision, including per curiam opinions, summary orders and sua sponte rulings issued by a relevant court. Unwritten oral rulings, tentative rulings, settlements, orders to show cause, or other procedures which do not constitute a finalized ruling will not count. A qualifying ruling of fraud must find that widespread, intentional voter fraud or vote-manipulation occurred during the first round of the 2026 Los Angeles mayoral election. Procedural irregularities, administrative errors, or isolated rulings on individual cases of voter fraud will not count. The primary resolution source will be official information from the relevant court; however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.**No court has ruled the June 2, 2026, Los Angeles mayoral primary fraudulent, and multiple official reviews have found no evidence of irregularities sufficient to overturn results.** Incumbent Karen Bass and City Councilmember Nithya Raman advanced to the November general election after late-counted mail ballots shifted Spencer Pratt from an early second-place position to third. Los Angeles County election officials confirmed that Pratt received votes in every batch update, directly refuting viral claims of zero-vote batches or systematic manipulation. California Attorney General Rob Bonta and county spokespeople have reiterated that audits, hand counts, and prior court cases show no widespread voter fraud in the state. The U.S. Attorney’s office (led by Trump appointee Bill Essayli) opened multiple investigations and dispatched observers to the ballot center, but the prosecutor has publicly rejected prominent conspiracy theories while noting only structural vulnerabilities in mail voting procedures. With results now certified at over 99% and no active lawsuits seeking to void the primary on fraud grounds, traders assess a judicial ruling invalidating the first round as highly improbable.
