Die Linke secured approximately 25.7 percent of the vote in Berlin’s September 20 state election, comfortably exceeding the 23 percent threshold according to official preliminary and final tallies. Its surge from 12.2 percent in 2023 stemmed primarily from voter focus on housing affordability, with candidate Elif Eralp emphasizing nationalization of large landlords and rent relief in line with the 2021 referendum. Strong district-level results in eastern and inner-city areas, combined with dissatisfaction toward the outgoing CDU-SPD coalition, boosted turnout and shifted support. Trader consensus for 23 percent or higher reflects these confirmed outcomes. Late adjustments in remaining absentee or disputed ballots remain possible but would need to exceed typical margins to drop the party below the threshold.

This market will resolve according to the percentage of valid second votes (Zweitstimme) received by Linke in the specified election.
If the reported value falls exactly between two brackets, then this market will resolve to the higher range bracket.
This market will resolve solely based on the percentage of valid second votes (Zweitstimme) won by the specified party, defined as the number of valid second votes won by the specified party divided by the total number of valid second votes in the specified election.
Valid vote percentages will be counted only where the Election Office of Berlin (Landeswahlleiter Berlin) attributes them to the aforementioned party. This market will resolve based on the results of this election as indicated by a consensus of credible reporting.
