If the tracker does not update correctly in accordance with the rules, X itself may be used as a secondary resolution source.**Zohran Mamdani, who assumed office as New York City mayor on January 1, 2026, maintains a steady posting cadence on the official @NYCMayor X account.** Recent comparable weeks show the account typically generating 20-39 original posts, quote posts, and reposts combined, centered on routine municipal updates such as public safety, education initiatives, transportation projects, and seasonal preparedness. Early September 2026 activity aligns with this pattern, featuring standard announcements around Labor Day observances, 9/11 commemoration planning, and executive actions without major emergencies, budget deadlines, or high-profile crises that would elevate volume. Trader consensus reflects this established baseline, pricing the 20-39 range at near-certainty while assigning negligible odds to higher or lower brackets. A sudden citywide emergency, contentious legislative vote, or major diplomatic development within the resolution window could increase output, though no such catalysts appear scheduled for the period.
