The resolution source for this market will be information from Wunderground, specifically the highest temperature recorded for all times on this day by the Forecast for the Munich Airport Station once information is finalized, available here: https://www.wunderground.com/history/daily/de/munich/EDDM. To toggle between Fahrenheit and Celsius, click the gear icon next to the search bar and switch the Temperature setting between °F and °C. This market can not resolve to "Yes" until all data for this date has been finalized. The resolution source for this market measures temperatures to whole degrees Celsius (eg, 9°C). Thus, this is the level of precision that will be used when resolving the market. Any revisions to temperatures recorded after data is finalized for this market's timeframe will not be considered for this market's resolution.Official observational data from the Deutscher Wetterdienst (DWD) at Munich Airport station (EDDM) confirm the highest temperature on May 14, 2026, peaked at 13°C, driving trader consensus to 100% market-implied probability for this outcome. Persistent cool northerly airflow and widespread cloud cover suppressed daytime heating, aligning with pre-event ECMWF model runs projecting highs in the 12–14°C range amid below-average early May conditions—historical norms hover around 18°C. METAR reports, including a 14°C reading at 14:50 local time, support this without exceeding the threshold. Scenarios challenging this would require rare post hoc data revisions from sensor anomalies or quality control adjustments by DWD or Wunderground, the market's resolution source, though such changes are exceedingly uncommon for settled daily records.
