This market will resolve to the temperature range that contains the lowest temperature recorded by NOAA at the Seattle-Tacoma International Airport Station in degrees Fahrenheit on 21 Sep '26. The resolution source for this market will be information from NOAA, specifically the lowest reading under the "Temp" column for all times on this day, available here: https://www.weather.gov/wrh/timeseries?site=ksea This market will resolve off of the Hourly Data provided using the "Show Hourly Data" button. If NOAA data for the observation date is unavailable by 11:59 PM ET on the day following the observation date, the Weather Underground Daily Observations table will be used as the resolution source. In the event that there is no data for the observation date by 11:59 PM ET on the day following the observation date, this market will resolve to the lowest bracket. To toggle between Fahrenheit and Celsius, click the "Switch to US Units w/ kts" button until the relevant table displays °F. This market will resolve once the first data point for the following date has been published on the resolution source, or by 11:59 PM ET on the day following the observation date, whichever comes first. The resolution source for this market measures temperatures to whole degrees Fahrenheit (eg, 21°F). Thus, this is the level of precision that will be used when resolving the market. Revisions to temperatures recorded within this market's timeframe will be considered until the first datapoint for the following date has been published, after which any alterations will not be considered.**Recent National Weather Service and model consensus forecasts point to an overnight low in the low-to-mid 50s°F for Seattle on September 21, 2026, aligning closely with the market’s top outcomes of 52–53°F (42.5%) and 50–51°F (32.5%).** Clear to partly cloudy skies overnight, light northerly or variable winds, and dew points near 11°C (52°F) support efficient radiational cooling after a daytime high in the mid-to-upper 60s. This setup matches the seasonal climatological average low of 52°F for the date and typical early-fall transition conditions, with no incoming systems or strong onshore flow to moderate temperatures. Forecasts from multiple sources (including NWS tabular products and international models) consistently show the temperature bottoming out near dawn in the 50–53°F range, with limited upside risk from lingering clouds or marine influence and only modest downside potential if skies clear fully. Traders appear to be weighting these official guidance runs and historical analogs heavily, as reflected in the tight clustering around the 50–53°F bins. Upcoming NWS forecast updates or real-time observations through the night will provide the next key data points for resolution.
