Rosa María Bayardo Cabrera holds the clearest edge in the Colima gubernatorial market as the frontrunner in Morena-PT-PVEM coalition internal polling for the 2027 race. She secured leave from her Manzanillo mayoral post in June 2026 to register for the state coordination process, a step widely viewed as the direct path to the nomination in a state where the coalition has dominated recent cycles. Traders price her well ahead of listed opponents because primary selection outcomes and coalition unity typically determine the general-election result under Mexico’s electoral calendar. Lower-priced alternatives reflect limited visibility in early surveys and weaker organizational backing at this stage. No major shifts in party alignments or disqualifying developments have altered the positioning since her registration.
