Recent opinion polls ahead of Sweden’s 13 September 2026 parliamentary election show Sverigedemokraterna (SD) consistently ahead of Moderaterna (M), with SD support in the 19–20.4 % range and M between 16.8–17.3 % across major surveys such as Demoskop, Novus and Indikator Opinion conducted through early August. SD’s lead over M has held steady for months, reflecting voter preferences within the right-leaning Tidö bloc that currently governs under Prime Minister Ulf Kristersson. The Social Democrats remain the largest party overall, but the direct contest between SD and M continues to favor the former in head-to-head polling averages. With the election less than a month away and no major late shifts reported, trader pricing reflects the durable polling gap between the two parties.
