Recent National Weather Service and private model consensus points to a high near 68–72°F for San Francisco on September 14, driven by strengthening onshore flow and a returning marine layer that has cooled the region after the early-September heat spike peaking at 94°F on the 9th. Typical mid-September climatology (average high 70.8°F) and light westerly winds further support this range, though model spread and microclimate differences at official stations introduce uncertainty around the upper end. Traders have priced the 74–75°F bin highest at 45% implied probability, reflecting modest upside risk from any delayed marine intrusion or localized warming, with lower bins capturing the more probable cooler outcomes ahead of final observational data.
