Forecast models from the National Weather Service and other agencies indicate an overnight low near 68°F for Los Angeles on September 14, 2026, driven by persistent marine layer influence that moderates nighttime temperatures along the coast. This places the 68-69°F bin as the market leader at 60.5% implied probability, consistent with current guidance showing patchy fog, light winds, and no significant frontal systems or heat advection expected. Historical climatology for the date averages around 64°F, but recent September conditions have featured slightly elevated minima due to above-average sea surface temperatures and stable high pressure. Traders appear to weigh the tight model consensus and low uncertainty in the 24-48 hour window, with secondary probability concentrated in adjacent bins reflecting minor forecast spread.
