Berlin's September 20, 2026, Abgeordnetenhaus election features a fragmented field where the incumbent CDU-SPD coalition faces declining CDU support amid voter concerns over governance and recent crises such as prolonged power outages. Current polling shows the CDU hovering near 19 percent, closely trailed by the Greens, Left Party, SPD, and AfD, producing wide ranges for projected seats under Germany's mixed-member proportional system. This volatility sustains tight market pricing across the 25–34 seat bands, as small shifts in turnout or second-vote shares among multiple parties can alter allocations. Late-campaign developments, including final polls, coalition signals, or events affecting swing voters in key districts, remain the primary catalysts that could widen or narrow CDU outcomes before election day.
