Chloé Fauchon of the Parti Québécois leads trader pricing for the Louis-Hébert riding in the October 5, 2026, Quebec general election, ahead of CAQ candidate Marc-Antoine Bernier and lower-priced options from the Liberals, Conservatives, and Québec solidaire. The open seat—previously held by CAQ incumbent Geneviève Guilbault, who is not seeking re-election—has become competitive amid a provincial race where PQ and CAQ support runs close in recent polling, particularly in the Capitale-Nationale region. Fauchon’s background as a public and environmental lawyer and her focus on housing, education, and francisation align with local priorities, while Bernier represents the governing party’s effort to retain suburban Quebec City support. Broader dynamics, including shifts in francophone voting intentions and the absence of an incumbent advantage, underpin the current market positioning ahead of the campaign’s early stages.
