The Rosemont riding in Montreal’s 2026 Quebec general election remains a tight contest between Québec solidaire’s Gisèle Pouhe Njall and Parti Québécois candidate Pierre-Luc Brillant, with both holding the highest implied probabilities in trader pricing. The seat, previously held by independent Vincent Marissal after his departure from QS, features additional contenders from the Liberals, CAQ, and Conservatives amid a broader provincial campaign launched in late August. Recent candidate nominations and local priorities such as hospital reconstruction and housing have kept the race competitive, consistent with 338Canada projections showing a narrow PQ-QS toss-up. Developments including provincial polling trends, turnout patterns among Montreal voters, and any late shifts in party messaging could further separate the frontrunners before the October 5 vote.
