The Left Party secured fourth place in Sweden’s September 13 parliamentary election with 8.4 percent of the vote and 30 seats, ahead of the Centre Party at 7.0 percent, according to nearly complete counts. This outcome aligned with late polling trends showing the party gaining ground to around 7–8 percent amid shifts within the centre-left bloc, including stronger urban support and seat gains relative to 2022. The Social Democrats led with 28.0 percent, followed by the Moderates and Sweden Democrats, leaving the Left Party positioned between the major parties and smaller bloc partners. With over 99.9 percent of ballots reported and a final tally expected shortly, only exceptional late adjustments could alter the ranking. Trader consensus at 100 percent reflects the settled preliminary results and limited remaining uncertainty.
