**Québec Solidaire maintains concentrated support in several Montreal-area ridings, including safe or competitive seats such as Gouin, Mercier, and Sainte-Marie–Saint-Jacques.** Recent seat projections from 338Canada place the party at 5 seats on average (range 2–10) despite a provincial vote share near 9–10 percent, reflecting efficient distribution among francophone and progressive voters. Incumbent MNAs and historical performance in urban strongholds provide a structural floor that has held through the current campaign period. The October 5, 2026 election remains weeks away, but polling averages and riding-level modeling show no scenario in which QS drops below one seat. Trader consensus at 94.5 percent for “Yes” aligns with this evidence of entrenched regional support and the absence of developments that would eliminate the party’s viability in its core districts.
