Recent forecasts from models and the Hydrometeorological Center point to a high near 16–18°C in Moscow on September 16 under partly cloudy skies with northwest winds of 5–10 km/h and minimal precipitation, aligning with the market’s tight clustering around 17°C and 18°C. This reflects typical mid-September conditions, where the climatological average high stands at about 16°C amid transitional autumn patterns featuring high pressure and reduced solar heating. Key variables include the precise timing of any cloud breaks that could allow brief warming above 18°C or sustained northerly flow that caps the maximum near 16°C. Updated model runs and official briefings over the next 48 hours will refine these thresholds ahead of market resolution.
