This market will resolve to the temperature range that contains the lowest temperature recorded by NOAA at the Austin-Bergstrom International Airport Station in degrees Fahrenheit on 2 Sep '26. The resolution source for this market will be information from NOAA, specifically the lowest reading under the "Temp" column for all times on this day, available here: https://www.weather.gov/wrh/timeseries?site=kaus This market will resolve off of the Hourly Data provided using the "Show Hourly Data" button. To toggle between Fahrenheit and Celsius, click the "Switch to US Units w/ kts" button until the relevant table displays °F. This market can not resolve until the first data point for the following date has been published on the resolution source. The resolution source for this market measures temperatures to whole degrees Fahrenheit (eg, 21°F). Thus, this is the level of precision that will be used when resolving the market. Revisions to temperatures recorded within this market's timeframe will be considered until the first datapoint for the following date has been published, after which any alterations will not be considered.**Current forecasts from the National Weather Service and other models point to an overnight low in Austin on September 2 around 77–78°F**, driven by persistent summer-like heat, high humidity, and light southerly winds advecting warm, moist Gulf air. These conditions limit radiational cooling, especially if partial cloud cover or scattered showers and thunderstorms develop, as indicated by 20–40% rain chances that could further suppress temperature drops. Historical averages for September 2 show a typical low near 71°F, but recent model runs reflect elevated baselines from ongoing warm advection and dew points in the low-to-mid 70s. This supports the market's emphasis on the 74–77°F ranges as leading outcomes, reflecting trader consensus on minimal cooling overnight. Uncertainties remain around exact cloud cover and storm timing, which could allow slightly lower readings near 74–75°F or hold values in the upper 70s if moisture lingers. New forecast updates from the NWS Austin/San Antonio office and model consensus runs will likely refine these probabilities as the evening approaches.
