PAM holds the strongest trader consensus as the likely winner of the most seats in Morocco’s September 23 legislative elections for the 395-seat House of Representatives, reflecting its active campaign momentum and positioning within the current governing coalition. Recent developments include PAM’s detailed five-year program emphasizing one million jobs, purchasing power measures, and youth integration, alongside high-profile candidate lists and reported defections from RNI ranks. The incumbent RNI-PAM-Istiqlal alliance faces voter apathy, low youth registration, and government fatigue after five years in power, with RNI managing internal leadership transitions and candidate renewals. Other parties such as PJD, PI, and smaller formations trail amid a fragmented field where local mobilization and electoral reforms on youth and gender quotas remain key variables. Market pricing captures these near-term campaign dynamics ahead of official Interior Ministry results.
