Incumbent Democrat Kevin Mullin holds a commanding position in California's 15th congressional district, a San Mateo County-based seat with a strongly Democratic partisan voting index that has favored the party by wide margins in recent cycles. Mullin secured the nomination after the June 2026 primary and faces Republican Charles Hoelter in the November general election. Trader consensus reflected in the current odds aligns with the district's history of delivering large Democratic majorities and the absence of competitive polling or fundraising data indicating a shift. Potential developments that could narrow the gap include a major scandal, significant health event affecting the incumbent, or an unusually strong national Republican performance capable of altering turnout patterns in this low-competition environment.

A candidate without a ballot-listed affiliation to either the Democrat or Republican parties will be considered a member of one of these parties based on the party with which they most recently expressed their intent to caucus at the time all of the House elections are conclusively called by this market's resolution sources.
