Jordan Bardella leads trader consensus at 71 percent for the National Rally's 2027 presidential nominee because he currently serves as the party's president and has emerged as the clear successor amid Marine Le Pen's ongoing legal appeal. Le Pen's 2025 conviction for misuse of European Parliament funds included a five-year office ban that would bar her candidacy unless overturned, with the Paris Court of Appeal decision expected in the coming months. Recent polls show Bardella dominating hypothetical first-round matchups and advancing strongly to a runoff, while Le Pen's ineligibility risk has accelerated internal party positioning around the younger leader. This legal timeline and polling momentum explain the 19 percent implied probability on Le Pen and limited support for other outcomes.
