Flávio Bolsonaro holds a commanding lead in Distrito Federal polling for Brazil’s October 4 first-round presidential contest, with recent Datafolha and AtlasIntel surveys placing him at 40–42% against Lula’s 32–37%. This regional strength, rooted in the area’s conservative voting patterns and the Liberal Party candidate’s platform on security and economic issues, underpins the 91% market price for his first-place finish. Traders’ consensus reflects these localized results rather than national trends, where the race remains tighter. Late shifts in turnout among swing voters or unexpected momentum for centrist alternatives could still narrow the gap before election day.
