Flávio Bolsonaro maintains a commanding position in Federal District first-round polling due to concentrated regional support for the Liberal Party candidate and his family's political brand among Brasília voters. August and September surveys from Datafolha and Quaest placed him ahead of President Lula and rivals such as Ronaldo Caiado, reflecting the district's voter base and campaign focus on security and anti-establishment themes ahead of the October 4 vote. National polls show a tighter overall contest, yet DF-specific data has sustained trader consensus around his frontrunner status. A late consolidation behind another right-leaning contender or an unexpected shift in local turnout could narrow the margin, though current evidence points to structural advantages for the PL nominee in the capital region.
