**Current National Weather Service guidance and GFS model runs point to a Monday high near 89°F in Miami, with mostly sunny morning conditions giving way to scattered afternoon thunderstorms and a 30-50% rain chance.** High humidity will support heat indices above 100°F, but cloud cover and convective activity are expected to limit further warming after peak heating. Historical September climatology for the area shows typical maxima in the upper 80s, consistent with the current steering pattern and lack of stronger high pressure. The market’s heavy weighting toward 90-91°F reflects trader views that the official high could edge into the low 90s depending on the exact timing of storms or slight forecast adjustments before observation. Key upcoming inputs include the next NWS update and any revised model runs through early Monday.
