Legislative elections to elect the House of Representatives of Morocco are scheduled to take place on September 23, 2026. This market will resolve to the next individual who assumes the office of Prime Minister (Head of Government) of Morocco, and whose government wins investiture from the House of Representatives in a vote of confidence, following the 2026 Moroccan legislative elections. To count for resolution, the government led by the individual must win investiture from the House of Representatives in a vote of confidence. Any interim, caretaker, or non-invested Prime Minister will not count toward the resolution of this market. If no such Prime Minister takes office by July 31, 2027, 11:59 PM ET, this market will resolve to “Other”. The primary resolution source for this market will be official information from the Government of Morocco; however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.Morocco’s parliamentary elections on September 23, 2026, will determine the composition of the House of Representatives and shape coalition negotiations for the next government, leaving trader consensus on the prime minister evenly split among leading party figures. Current RNI leader Mohamed Chaouki and PAM head Fatima Ezzahra El Mansouri sit at the front of the field, followed closely by candidates from the MP, PJD, and other parties, reflecting the absence of decisive polling leads and the monarchy’s ultimate role in appointing the head of government from the largest bloc or viable coalition. Campaigns center on youth employment, wage increases, and infrastructure ahead of the 2030 World Cup, amid ongoing public dissatisfaction with living costs and services that has fueled recent protests and low youth turnout. Fouzi Lekjaa’s recent PAM affiliation has added speculation but no confirmed shift in positioning, while Aziz Akhannouch’s departure from RNI leadership ensures a new prime minister regardless of the result. The tight distribution captures uncertainty over final seat shares and post-election bargaining in a system where palace priorities often guide outcomes.
